How to get to Egli Hotel
Egli Hotel is in the heart of the main pedestrian street in the island’s capital, Chora.
Its location is ideal as it is within walking distance of all the main important sites, as well as restaurants, bars, and shops in the area.
You can reach Gavrio, the port of Andros by ship from Rafina Port in Athens, the journey only takes 2 hours (1 hour by high-speed boat). There are daily and frequent crossings that also connect Andros with various other islands such as Tinos, Mykonos, Syros, Paros, and Naxos.
The capital of Chora is on the eastern side of the island at 35km from the port of Gavrio.
By Public Bus
At the port of Gavrio, there is a public bus terminal located opposite the ferry terminal where the embarkation and disembarkation of passengers takes place. Board a bus bound for Chora (which is the final stop) and enjoy the 45–50-minute scenic ride. Egli Hotel is situated on the main pedestrian street of Chora above the Alpha Bank and only a mere 100 meters from the public bus terminal.
